MY RUN

MY RUN

"After tragically losing his wife to breast cancer Terry Hitchcock ran 75 consecutive marathons in 75 consecutive days to bring attention to the incredibly difficult lives of single-parent families.  MY RUN is more than a film about a guy running multiple marathons; it’s a film about the daily marathons we all run in life." (from the My Run movie website)

My Run, the Terry Hitchcock story, will be shown one night only, March 31st at 7pm at the Hollywood 18 in Huntsville. Prior to the movie, at 5:30, come out to Fleet Feet and join the Dixie Daredevils for "Their Run...a "FunD Run".

The Dixie Daredevils are a team of local women runners who have committed to run the Hood to Coast (197 mile) relay race in order to raise awareness and money for American Cancer Society. "Their Run...a FunD Run" will be a 30-45 minute run* with members of the team (*or run/walk or walk...all paces welcome).  They will pass the offering shoe before, during and after the event. Donations of any amount to American Cancer Society are gratefully accepted, but not required, to participate. (Checks and credit cards, via on-line donations, are welcomed!)
