Huntsville office building received energy grant | Business

A Huntsville office building received a $5,000 grant.

Gov. Robert Bentley awarded the grant to a three-story office building on Whitesburg Drive to help retrofit energy efficient lighting.

The management group will contribute an addition $7,052 to the project. They said the new lights will use 56 percent less energy.

The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs is administering the grant.
