Engineering students at the University of Alabama in Huntsville have designed a tool called a Gauntlet Keyboard.

The Gauntlet Keyboard is a glove device that functions as a wireless keyboard.

The device transmits via Bluetooth to a computer, mobile phone, synthesizer, video game or military device.

Four UAH students made the glove their senior design project for a class led by Dr. B. Earl Wells. The students are Jiake Liu, Stephen Dond, Douglas Kirby, and Chris Heath.

They are now working on a patent. The project won a $20,000 award from the Best Buy Innovator Fund.
