Dairy Day offers fun for the whole family | Community Spirit
Burritt on the Mountain has scheduled a magical Dairy Day for Sept. 21.
A favorite of local families, this year’s event will be in the Whimsical Woods. Dairy Day starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. There will be fun and educational activities for the whole family!
Families will have the opportunity to churn butter with Little Miss Muffet, try their hands at milking Boxy, the faux cow, with Jack or his mother at the Giant’s Beanstalk, crank the ice cream churn with Aunt Polly or Tom Sawyer and learn about blacksmithing from a real live blacksmith.
Visitors can meet Burritt’s goats and cow in the barnyard and relax while walking through the park. Tickets are the cost of general admission, while Burritt members and children ages 2 and under are free.
