Daniel Proctor transferred to state prison | Crime

Daniel Proctor has been transferred from the Huntsville-Madison County Metro Jail to Kilby Correctional Facility. He was convicted of theft charges in Madison County.

Proctor is also suspected in the death of his former wife, Amy Patterson. Patterson is from Madison County, but was living in Florida when she disappeared in 2011.

Investigators tell WAFF 48 News that proctor lead Florida law enforcement to Patterson's body after his conviction in Madison County.

Officials in Lee County, Florida tell us they are working to secure a warrant in this case, but will not elaborate. Wednesday, they confirmed no movement in the case.
