Green Living Expo to be April 19 | Environment
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Green Living Expo will be April 19
The theme this year is “Living green from the inside out,” and the featured guests are award winning dieticians from HEBNI Nutrition Consultants, Inc. (HNC) of Orlando.
The Green Living Expo is designed to raise awareness about environmental issues and help consumers and organizations become better stewards of natural resources. Participants will obtain information on “green” products and services, and will also enjoy a free lunch and refreshments, live entertainment, a chance to win door prizes, and an opportunity to participate in food demonstrations from top chefs and nutritionists in the Southeast.
The event will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Alabama A&M University’s Agribition Center. A campus bus will run every 30 minutes to and from the J. F. Drake Memorial Learning Resource Center to the Agribition Center.;
The event is free, however guests are encouraged to bring food items to donate to the local food bank.
