The Madison County Farm Service Agency will accept applications from April 23 to June 1 for farms or ranches who need financial assistance with cleanup and removal of debris from fields or pastures or fence repair or replacement due to the tornado event of March 2.

“With limited federal dollars available these days, we are fortunate to have access to funds to help with this project,” said Thomas D Atkinson, County Executive Director for USDA/FSA in Madison County.

Atkinson recommends that victims of the March 2nd disaster sign up early.

If you have already begun cleaning or repairing, you can bring receipts or check stubs with you to apply at 819 Cook Avenue, Room 123, in Huntsville.

For more information, call Victoria Griggs at 256-532-1677 ext. 2.
