FOP and WAY-FM team up to help local families | Families

The Madison County Fraternal Order of Police T.L. Blakemore Lodge #6 and Christian radio station WAY-FM 88.1 have teamed up with Target to help a group of local families facing financial hardships this Christmas.

The program, Christmas Prayers with a Cop, has been in place for a decade.

The FOP funds the program through contributions by citizens and businesses in Madison County. WAY-FM finds the families most in need.

Members of the FOP and WAY-FM will meet the families at Target in Jones Valley Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to fulfill Christmas wishes.
