Several flu shot clinics are being held in Madison County this week for citizens to get their immunizations against the seasonal ailment for free.
The clinic runs Monday, Oct 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Madison City Council Chambers, 100 Hughes Road.
Tuesday, Oct. 8, the clinic will be at Huntsville's Bob Harrison Senior Wellness and Advocacy Center, 6156 Pulaski Pike, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 9, shots will be available at the Bobo Fire Station, 7982 Old Railroad Bed Road, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The current round of free clinics wraps up Thursday, Oct. 10 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 12200 Bailey Cove Road SE in Huntsville.
As more vaccine becomes available, the Madison County Commission hopes to add more neighborhood clinics.
