Huntsville chosen for filming location for new movie | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- A Georgia based production company hopes to start filming a new movie in the rocket city using talent from all across Alabama.
The company held auditions this weekend looking for actors and actresses for roles in a new movie called, "Special People."
Senior producer Ralph Armstead said this family comedy film showcases five individuals in a southern mental institution. He said each character has their own unique aspect.
"We have our audience as we're watching the film to really wonder who really are challenged, is it individuals on the inside of the institution or on the outside wall in the real world," said Armstead.
