Annual golf tournament fundraiser begins next week | News
The annual Tim Nash Golf Tournament will take place next week at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
The tournament benefits the 305 8th Street Group Home in Huntsville.
This is the third year for this event.
The home provides care for 16 residents with diverse mental challenges, ranging from autism to brain damage.
All the proceeds go to help provide program services at the home.
"Due to lack of state funding, we look to the community to help us out with fundraising events, and that is the reason for this year's Tim Nash Memorial Golf Tournament," said board president, Dan Nash.
The tournament tees off at 8 a.m. September 10.
