Driver injured in dump truck wreck | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- A truck driver suffered minor injuries after his dump truck overturned at a busy Huntsville intersection.
The dump truck overturned just before 11 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Whitesburg Drive and Airport Road.
The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He told investigators the brakes failed on the vehicle as it went down the hill and then crashed at the intersection.
No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
Workers were called in to clean up the mess and the road was shut down for about two hours.
