Redstone to test missile round, expect smoke | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- Expect to see a lot of smoke on the arsenal on Thursday.
Arsenal officials said a terminal high-altitude area defense missile round will be tested between 7 and 9 a.m. if weather permits.
The test is to see if it can withstand mechanical shocks, fire, and impact. To do that, they'll be setting a large fire.
The test should last about 45 minutes.
