Missing provisional ballots reported in Madison Co. | News
HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- A petition filed Wednesday morning in Madison County Circuit Court states the Madison County Board of Registrars is looking for missing provisional ballots.
Those ballots are from precinct 20, Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
According to the petition, the ballots cannot be located. The chairman for the board of registrars wants permission to open the sealed provisional ballot containers to see if those envelopes holding the provisional ballots are inside.
The petition states that without these envelopes, the Madison County Board of Registrars cannot fulfill its obligations required by Alabama law.
