Kitchen Cops sees repeat offender | News

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF)- Four restaurants scored low in Kitchen Cops;
one of the restaurants is on the list for the third consecutive time.
The Southern Fixin Steakhouse and Buffet in
Ardmore is a Kitchen Cops low performer for the third straight time. It scored
an 84, then a 79 and this time an 82.
A Madison County health inspector reported
several small infractions but only one critical violation for a dirty can
opener blade.
India Café on Airport Road in Huntsville
scored an 82. The inspector reported yogurt, coconut chutney, red chutney and
minty chutney all held above to maximum temperature required to prevent
bacterial growth in cold holding foods.
Restuarante El Azteca in Huntsville scored an
80. The inspector took off points after discovering steak cooked for future use
had no markings to indicate when it had been cooked, and the inspector reported
no one had proof of passing their food safety course.
That same violation was reported at the Lucky
Food Mart in Decatur. They scored a 68. The Morgan County Health Inspector also
nailed them for dirty equipment.
