I write this with an admitted amount of bias. I like making my own chili at home. I inherited from my mother a wild sense of not knowing how hot is too hot. This is why many people find my chili inedible. So when I have to ensure other people get fed besides myself, I'm very glad Huntsville has a great chili restaurant.
Anaheim Chili, 2030 Cecil Ashburn Dr. Ste 102, bests my one-pot-wonder by nine: their regular menu boasts ten different varieties of the filling stew. This doesn't include the Tuesday special of Texas Chili, served with rice and beans.
There's a version of chili to suit the reserved and the adventurous, from cocoa-infused Cincinatti Chili served on top of pasta, to Cuban Stew spiked with lime and garlic.
