Curfew for Madison county residents

There is a dusk until dawn curfew for residents that live in Madison County.  If law enforcement pull you over after dusk you will be asked for proper ID.

Power outage update

Power outage update

Huntsville Utilities estimates as many as 35,000 customers are without power. Outages are scattered throughout the system.

At least 20 substation circuits are off-line.  Crews are assessing the damage so that service restoration can begin.

Huntsville City Schools are closing. Middle Schools & High Schools are dismissing at 12:15. Elementary schools are dismissing at 12:45.

Power outage update

According to Huntsville Utilities there are about 10 small outages with less than 200 customers affected.

The Hazel Green outage earlier this morning was caused by a pole being damaged in the storm.
